Former DEEP PURPLE Keyboardist JON LORD To Be Interviewed On TotalRock

May 18, 2009

Former DEEP PURPLE keyboardist Jon Lord will visit TotalRock radio in London this Wednesday morning (May 20) for an interview with Malcolm Dome.

Lord will appear on Dome's "Phantasmagoria" program between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m. (U.K. time),chatting about his music and his appearance at the upcoming Childline Rocks concert.

You can listen live online via TotalRock's web site at this location.

The Childline Rocks concert will take place on June 1 at the IndigO2 in London, England.

Childline founder Esther Rantzen said the concert was an important way to raise money for the cause. "We did Childline Rocks 2008 and it was so spectacular and everybody had such a fantastic time that it was quite clear it was going to have to be an annual event," she said.

"Not only it is fun, not only is the music amazing, but it raises money for children to call Childline who have nowhere else to turn."

Also scheduled to appear at the event is Glenn Hughes (ex-DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH).
